Tried to commit to buying a truck 3 different times. The sales guy Jarrett continually was horrible at responding to emails and eventually sold the truck to someone else even though I was happy to buy it. What a waste of time, excitement, and goodwill. After the initial text message I received asking if I’d be available that day to come in and look at the vehicle I had told him I wouldn’t be in for a couple of weeks but still had some questions, I never heard back from him. We will buy from Chapman again. My perception is that The company is trying to get more money for vehicles.
Although I was approved for financing they required 8 k down for a 12k vehicle, didn’t make much sense to me and this was my second encounter. My first was auto shutdown when I stated I wanted to put 2 k down they said not approved, although I was pre approved through lenders online. Also, they require a credit check prior to testing the vehicle, very odd. Called 3 times and never got a call back. Also Carla said she had someone interested in the vehicle I was looking at and never called me back like she said. Glad I never went down to look at their inventory! It was sold before they contacted me again.
Lowered price after I talked to them. I bought the car and absolutely love it! Horrible experience and I would not recommend to anyone. They sold me a theft protection plan with out giving me the option to decline.
